[Figure Photos] Yes, my master? – Louise Françoise Le Blanc de La Vallière

Louise1Figure: Alter – 1/8 Louise – Gothic Punk Ver. (Zero no Tsukaima)

I wanted the shot to resemble a scene from one of those old black and white drama serials.

Back with a Vengeance

Take that, procrastination!

W00T, back at last! Actually I was able to get the PC up and running last Sunday however there was an error with my blog url (?) that didn’t allow me to upload files or save posts (making me miss yesterday’s Moe Monday… sorry). Thanks to WordPress.com support for getting that sorted out. :D

Anyway, here are some pre-orders that came up during the last few days:

From Taki Corporation comes the first (and hopefully not the last) PVC figure from Hayate no Gotoku, the “lively 17 year old super housemaid” Maria! She comes in at 1/8 scale and will be released March 2008 for 4,515 Yen. Hopefully they’ll do Hinagiku or Nagi next!

Resinya also revealed their figure lineup for March! First is this very tsuntsun-looking 1/7 scale Louise from Zero no Tsukaima. She’ll retail for 6,880 Yen. Next up is this figure of Horo from Spice and Wolf! She’s been gaining a lot of popularity recently, and I can’t blame her, she’s totally moe~! TAIL FEEL SO GOOD! She’ll also be released in 1/7 scale at 7,800 Yen.

And from Toy’sworks comes their rendition of Exelica from Trigger Heart Exelica! She’ll come in at 1/8 scale (which is massive, considering all the armor she has) and will be released at May 2008 for a whopping 9,550 Yen. Which reminds me, for those getting Alter’s verision of Exelica, have you prepared shelf space for her already?

And that’s about it for today! Some figure pre-orders just came in a few days ago, hopefully I’ll be able to post a review by next week. :D

Alter’s June Lineup and Goodsmile’s Chu Chu Astram

Alter unveiled their figure lineup for June with Mitsuru Kirijo from Persona 3 and Siesta from Zero no Tsukaima. Mitsuru-sempai clocks in at 1/8 scale and comes with a saber and the controversial ‘evoker‘. IMHO it looks much better than Kotobukiya’s version, and it’s great that she has an alternate arm to replicate the trademark persona-summoning pose from the game. She retails for 6.090 Yen.

As a shining proof that wishful thinking works, Alter stepped up and made what I believe is the first figure of the lovely maid Siesta, and they did a wonderful job at it! She also comes in at 1/8 scale and will retail for 5,775 Yen. I can’t wait to get my hands on her!

Goodsmile on the other hand, has revealed their 1/8 Chu Chu Astram figure from the upcoming eroge Chu x Chu Idol! Aside from the fantastic sculpt, she comes with cast-off gimmicks, including a… weird demon-thingie. *_* She’s to be released this May for 6,800 Yen.

On a sidenote, my PC’s power supply blew up, so I won’t be able to post that much for a while. Until next time! *_*’

Figure News Roundup – May releases and more Revoltech!

Here’s a quick roundup of figure news within the past few days, mostly for May 2008 figure releases:

Kotobukiya has revealed preorder details for their 1/8 scale Tabitha from Zero no Tsukaima. She comes with a removable cloak, and will be released on May 2008 with a retail price of 5,040 Yen. Hopefully they’ll do Siesta or Henrietta next! Also from Kotobukiya is the next entry in their ToHeart 2 Another Days “Maid Version” series of figures, the high-strung Yuma Tonami! This 1/8 scale figure will be released on May 2008 as well, and will retail for 5,040 Yen.

Toy’sworks has announced that they will be releasing a 1/8 scale figure of Yuiko Kurugaya from Key’s Little Busters! in a really seductive pose! This PVC+ABS figure will have a retail price of 6,800 Yen and will be released May 2008.

Preorders for the next wave of Kaiyodo‘s Revoltech figure releases for March 2008 have also shown up: No. 046 Starscream and No.047 Hot Rodimus from The Transformers! They will retail for 1,995 Yen each. In other Revoltech-related news, Kaiyodo has announced that they will be releasing their Revoltech Gurren Lagann figure at the upcoming Wonder Festival 2008 Winter event, 3 months before the official release date! I wonder how much it’ll be sold for at Yahoo!Auctions.jp afterwards. x_x
