Kamen Rider Kiva Videos

The Kamen Rider series for 2008, Kamen Rider Kiva premiered last Sunday, January 27, 2008. The show is about Wataru Kurenai, a young man destined to become Kamen Rider Kiva to fight creatures called Fangaia. These monsters were also hunted down in the past by Wataru’s father, Otoya Kurenai who disappeared 22 years ago. The story will be split between Wataru’s actions as Kiva in 2008 and Otoya’s role as a Fangaia Hunter in 1986.

Here’s a clear look at 2008′s Kamen Rider hero, Kamen Rider Kiva! The new show will follow a horror theme this time around, with Kiva’s forms inspired by famous monsters (Dracula, werewolf, Frankenstein’s monster and gillman). He’ll have contract monsters for his different forms, which will reside in a haunted castle.

I must say the concept is pretty unique, though like the current Kamen Rider series Kamen Rider Den-O, whose premise sounded retarded at first (Kamen Rider with trains?!) but ended up pretty awesome, I guess the best approach is to just be ready for anything.

Kamen Rider Kiva will premiere after the conclusion of Kamen Rider Den-O next year.
